She accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Wildwood, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jehu and Clara Chubb, Sr.; brothers, Stanley, Herman, Homer, and Jimmy Chubb, Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Sophia Chubb of Chattanooga; sons, Gregory (devoted daughter-in-law, Kenya) Chubb of Stevenson, AL and Wesley Chubb of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Dewayne and Tiffany Chubb, both of Chattanooga, Gregory, Tiamia, and Keyon Chubb, all of Stevenson; great-grandchild, Cornelius Smith, Jr. of Chattanooga; brothers, Jehu “Ralph” Chubb, Jr. of Washington, PA, William Chubb of Columbus, OH, Gary Chubb and Edward “Eddie”, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Shirley (Johnny) Cox, Glenda “Sue” Sparks, both of Chattanooga, and Theresa Chubb of Bridgeport, AL; special friends, Glenda Harris, Thelma Hutchins, and Sally McMillian; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 18, from 12-1 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Larry Owens as the eulogist. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery in Wildwood, Ga. ...
